Mission
The Mission of Heritage Training and Career Center (HTCC) is to provide training and assistance for low-income individuals who lack adequate skills to achieve economic independence, as well as to promote self-sufficiency through training, work experience, supportive services and job placement.
Vision
The Vision of HTCC is for all Alabamians to reach their maximum potential through active participation in a system of quality services and opportunities that enable them to make informed and responsible choices, acquire critical and marketable skills and be a healthy and caring member of their community.
Population Served
Programs and services are provided to individuals residing within low-income communities throughout a four-county target are. Communities served include Autauga, Elmore, Macon and Montgomery counties.

Heritage Training and Career Center in Montgomery, Alabama, offers programs and services to individuals living in low-income communities throughout a four county target area. We serve the communities of Autauga, Elmore, Macon and Montgomery counties. At Heritage Training and Career Center we are using Literacy as a bridge to hope. Literacy is a platform for a better tomorrow. For everyone, everywhere, literacy is, along with education in general, a basic human right.
Literacy is the road to human progress and the means through which every man, woman and child can realize his or her full potential.
